This is a Durant uniselector with minor shelf wear, tested and working. These are 10 position electromechanical indicators that also output their state electrically on a 10 position rotor. The 10 position rotor can be used to drive a Nixie tube electro-mechanically, or any other display that works based on 1 of 10 selection. These can also be used as standalone displays since the current digit is visible through a window in the front of the device. There is also a second smaller rotor inside that closes separate pads on the 9 and 0 position for use as a digit carry function. It takes a 20 volt pulse to cycle one of these to the next digit, and the pin connections are printed on the back of each readout. If you ever wanted to build an electromechanical or 'no semiconductor' Nixie clock, these will make the task considerably easier!
