Large Soviet-made phosphor coated neon bulbs, unused industrial surplus with shelf wear. These gas filled lamps work just like a common neon bulb, but have a phosphorescent coating which is excited by the ionized gas within. This causes the bulbs to light up with a piercing blue glow instead of the orange discharge common for neon lamps. These bulbs have a bayonet base with a diameter of approximately 14mm. |
