This is a tiny aerospace hour meter, new old stock, tested and working. Diminutive hour meters like this were mounted in individual pieces of test equipment and circuit modules so the runtime of each board or plug-in unit could be tracked separately for scheduled maintenance. The meter is truly small, with a size of 12mmx12mm and a length of 29mm, you could fit dozens of these in the footprint of a traditional Haydon hour meter. This meter is rated at 115V 400HZ, and consumes 0.1 watts. This unit will run at 60hz line voltage, but it would be useless as a timer at this frequency since the line frequency is also used as the timebase for the motor.
