An unusual RGB LED light bar display, working and tested. This display has visible discrete dies ball-bonded to a gold clad PCB, with dies in three colors; red, green and blue. Each die is individually controllable through the 30 pin FFC connector on one side of the device. The LEDs are protected by a clear epoxy coating to prevent damage. This is a very rare display and I have never seen anything like it before, what unusual projects could be built with such a device? RGB point-of-view display? VR headset variable color tempature backlight? VU meter designed by a madman? Comes with ribbon cable.
