18 channel GPS module, model GSU-36 manufactured by Position Ltd in 2001, removed from working equipment. The pinouts, left to right with the PCB facing downwards, are as follows:

1: Gnd, 2: Batt (+ 3.3 volts), 3: 10kHz output, 4: 1PPS output, 5: RO2, 6: TX Data, 7: RX Data, 8: VCC (+ 3.3 volts), 9: VCC (+ 3.3 volts)

These devices output standard NMEA strings serially at 4800 baud, which can decoded by most microcontrollers using commonly available code or a PC with an RS232 level shifter. The series of strings output by the device looks like this when read from Hyperterminal on a PC.

The device also has a 1 pulse-per-second output, which makes it easy to incorporate the module into a Nixie clock for high accuracy timekeeping.
