Gold clad white ceramic chip carrier, 1960s era, salvaged from a semiconductor factory. This carrier still has its leadframe attached, and would be used to produce a 40 pin DIP IC. The holes in the package were designed to mate with plastic screws that would lock the chip into its socket. |
